Exceed Microneedling

What is microneedling?

Collagen induction therapy, also known as microneedling is a cosmetic procedure that involves repeatedly puncturing the skin with tiny, sterile needles. This sounds painful and scary but we promise you it is not!

What is the Exceed™ Medical Microneedling Device?

The Exceed device offers enhanced treatment versatility as the first dual-indicated, FDA-cleared medical microneedling system for the treatment of facial wrinkles, scar and pigmentation reduction. Each treatment session delivers powerful results with minimal downtime.

Why opt for this device and treatment ?

The exceed medical microneedling system is one of the most versatile devices on the market. It is the first FDA-cleared, dual-indicated medical microneedling device offering minimally invasive and clinically.

Industry Certifications

Unlike other micro-needling devices, EXCEED comes with the highest level of industry approvals available. It’s FDA approved as a class 2 medical device (the world’s first), clinically proven to treat acne scaring, clinically proven to reduce the depth of scars and to normalise the skin structure. Also proven to visibly reduce the appearance of wrinkles, skin laxity and uneven skin texture. AKA a wonder tool for all!

Every single component that makes up the device is engineered and manufacturer in Germany – so the quality is second to none.

‘Unlike Dermapen devices that have been known to fake their medical CE certifications and make outrageous claims about how effective the device is, EXCEED does not. When it comes to medical microneedling, Dermapen barely competes at this level.’

Will it hurt?

One of the first questions clients ask about this treatment is “does microneedling hurt?”. Generally, no, microneedling does not hurt. Exceed microneedling represents the latest technology in microneedling, which has been enhanced for patient comfort. Before the Exceed device is used, a numbing cream soothes and prepares the skin for treatment. The rapid movement of the needles themselves makes treatment go by quickly. Most clients describe it as a feeling like fine sandpaper on the skin.

Will I see any immediate results with Exceed microneedling?

Because microneedling works to repair the skin from the inside out, it takes time for full results to develop. However, you may see an immediate improvement in the skin as well. Often, clients will leave the clinic with a light glow after their treatment. After about 30 days, you’ll notice more dramatic improvements as collagen and elastin are restored beneath the skin’s surface.

Am I a good candidate for microneedling?

Almost anyone can safely undergo microneedling. The Exceed medical microneedling device offers an adjustable depth, making it appropriate for many different skin types. It’s ideal for addressing mild to moderate damage from wrinkles, scars, and enlarged pores. Most clients will benefit from a series of 2-3 treatments spaced at least 6 weeks apart.

How does Exceed microneedling work?

Microneedling uses controlled damage to agitate the skin just enough to trigger a healing response. When very fine, single use needles penetrate the skin through the Exceed device, the deeper layers of skin respond with increased cell regeneration. The skin also starts to produce more collagen, which is what keeps it looking tight, smooth, and youthful. As we get older, collagen production tends to slow down. So, you might think of microneedling as a natural collagen infusion for the skin.

Treatment is further improved by the delivery of hyaluronic acid (HA) to the deeper layers of skin. This is the same ingredient found in dermal fillers and a wide range of skin care products. It’s a building block for healthy skin, so it will help you get that youthful appearance following your treatment.
